Operation HOPE North County depends on the generosity of the community to sustain our mission.
You are invited to make a difference in the lives of our children and adults by making a donation to our Seeds of HOPE campaign.
The majority of our donations come from individuals in the community like yourself. With your support, we can continue to serve our clients and work with them to ensure they achieve their goals and overcome their barriers. Our mission would not be possible without your generosity. Even the smallest donations, make a lasting impact. Contact us at info@operationhopeshelter.org with any questions!
Make a sustainable investment in the families staying at our shelter by investing in Operation HOPE-North County! Partnering with us allows us to provide the services and resources needed to give HOPE to families experiencing homelessness in North County.

Our mission would not be possible without the community coming together to volunteer, provide meals, donate supplies, and teach classes to our clients. There are so many ways you can get involved! Email us to learn more!
Corporate philanthropy programs allow donors to maximize the impact of their donation by matching their employee’s gifts. It’s like a two-for-one donation special that doubles the gift for the cause you are supporting. Share this opportunity with your employees or ask your employer if they match gifts! Reach out to Nicole Ketcher, Director of Resource Development, nicole@operationhopeshelter.org for more information!
Groups and individuals can get involved with volunteering at Operation HOPE-North County. Currently we have opportunities to help out in our client boutique, with serving meals, and at our front desk. If you’re interested in volunteering reach out to us at volunteer@operationhopeshelter.org.
Having a warm meal at the end of each day is a key factor in creating stability for our clients who are coming off the streets or from sleeping in their cars. Dinner is an incredibly impactful time at OHNC and we value the community being the ones who make it possible. If your group is interested in providing a meal, reach out to us at 760-295-6562 or volunteer@operationhopeshelter.org.
A large part of our Steps to Independence Program are our skill building classes. Community members virtually teach classes on parenting, financial literacy, credit building, coping skills, and many more topics. We invite you to reach out to us if you’re interested in hosting a class!
Email us at volunteer@operationhopeshelter.org for more information.
Serving 30-40 individuals at a time means we go through supplies pretty quickly. Your group can ensure we have the necessary items to make the shelter a home by hosting a supply drive for us. We will provide you with a list of items and a flyer and you can rally your group or community to gather supplies. This is a great way to get involved during COVID-19. If you’re interested, reach out to us at volunteer@operationhopeshelter.org
