Operation HOPE – North County Honored with 2026 Women in California Leadership Award
Operation HOPE – North County is proud to share that we have been selected by Senator Catherine Blakespear to receive the 2026 Women in California Leadership Award for District 38 in celebration of Women’s History Month.
This recognition highlights the meaningful impact Operation HOPE – North County has made in supporting families with children and single women experiencing homelessness through safe shelter, vital resources, and pathways to long-term stability. As a largely women-led organization, this honor reflects the dedication, compassion, and leadership of the incredible women who power our mission every day.
Operation HOPE – North County will be recognized during the “Women Who Inspire” reception, which celebrates outstanding women leaders nominated by their communities across District 38.
During the program, a representative from Operation HOPE – North County will share brief remarks reflecting on the organization’s mission and the importance of supporting women and families in our community.
We are deeply honored to receive this recognition and remain committed to continuing our work alongside our community to empower women, strengthen families, and create pathways to stability for those experiencing homelessness in North County.
