Internship Opportunities
Through our partnerships with local colleges and universities, OHNC is proud to offer meaningful internship opportunities for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the nonprofit and social services sector. Interns play an important role in supporting our programs while building valuable skills in community engagement, client services, and nonprofit operations.
We currently offer three focus areas:
-
Pantry & Boutique Internship – Help organize donations, assist families with dignity and care, and keep our pantry and boutique running smoothly.
-
Marketing & Events Internship – Create engaging content, capture photos and videos, and bring our story to life through events and outreach.
-
Youth Coordinator Internship – Mentor children, lead activities, and inspire creativity and learning in our Kids’ HOPE Club.
Why intern with us?
-
Gain valuable, hands-on nonprofit experience that employers love to see.
-
Build your portfolio, resume, and confidence while giving back to your community.
-
Work alongside dedicated staff and volunteers who believe in the power of HOPE.
-
Discover the joy of making a difference that lasts far beyond your internship hours.
Our internships are flexible, unpaid opportunities designed to fit around your schedule (average 8–10 hours per week). We ask for a minimum 8–10 week commitment, though many interns choose to stay longer for a deeper experience.
